Dr. Carl Hillier, FCOVD explains how a child diagnosed or misdiagnosed as ADHD, dyslexic, or learning disabled (learning disabilities) can have serious undetected vision problems that can be tested and fixed. In many cases, the child might have tested as having 20/20 vision (distance vision) but still has major problems with near vision or other visual skills important to reading, schoolwork with their vision. These children need to have a comprehensive eye exam and visual evaluation. Learn how to spot the signs and symptoms of these undetected vision problems that interfere with reading, learning, sports, coordination, etc. such as convergence insufficiency or poor binocular vision (eye tracking , eye teaming, depth perception, etc.). Over 50% of children in Special Education have these types of vision problems and over 20% of all children do.

Some even called her "lazy!" She didn't have learning disabilities!
